Dress to Impress Clothing Donation Event
We set up our tent in a public community area and give out clothing and grab bags to the homeless and in need people. We also give out hygiene products and items proper for the outside living in Alaska weather. Items and Clothes are given according to the time of year.
People who are interested in helping with the requested items are welcome to drop these items off at our office location and we will distribute during the next event.
People are also welcome to donate funds so we can purchase items that will go into grab bags that are distributed during the event also.
Winter Needs
Blankets, Tents, sleeping bags, jackets, gloves, hats, snow boots, shoes, portable heater battery operated, batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 6V, and 12V) pants, socks, tooth brush, wash cloths, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, shavers, combs, brushes, dental floss, and heating packs.
Grab Bags
Bags are all similar in contents: they consist of travel size deodorant, lotion, soap, tooth brush, Chapstick, hair brush, comb, wash rag, towel, and 1 pair of socks. ** contents of grab bags run roughly $20 **
